Last weekend, Kanak Studio was part of two important exhibitions within the Art Week in Mexico City: BADA Mexico by Banco Azteca and Feria Territorio. In BADA Mexico of Banco Azteca, we participated along with our allies Fibra x Hermano Maguey, Hiato, Prannus and Merakia, presenting our work in this space dedicated to art, design and contemporary creativity.

BADA Mexico by Banco Azteca is an international art fair that seeks to generate a direct link between artists and collectors. In its Mexico City edition, it brought together more than 100 artists and design studios in a format that eliminates intermediaries, allowing visitors to see firsthand the creative process of each piece. For Kanak Studio, this was a great opportunity to showcase our vision of sustainable design and object art, reaffirming our commitment to ethical production and cultural development. In addition, the fair allowed us to exchange ideas with other creators and receive direct feedback from the public, which further enriches our creative process.

On the other hand, at Feria Territorio, Kanak Studio participated independently, in an event that celebrates the intersection between design, art and craftsmanship. In this space, the exhibiting projects seek to connect with local traditions and responsibly sourced materials, aligning perfectly with Kanak Studio's philosophy. We presented our collection of furniture and object art, highlighting the use of reclaimed wood from the Don Jorge farm and our collaboration with artisans from the Soconusco region of Chiapas. This experience allowed us to share our vision with an audience interested in sustainability and the value of artisanal work, strengthening our ties with the creative community and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
Our participation in both fairs reaffirms our commitment to responsible design and the dialogue between tradition and innovation. We thank everyone who visited us and shared this moment with us, and we are excited to continue growing and exploring new platforms for our work!
