The creation process used the glass fusing technique, an innovative method that fuses glass of different colors and textures through the application of heat. This approach not only enhances chromatic diversity, but also offers a tactile richness that turns each piece into a unique and striking work of art. The lamp, the result of this meticulous combination, was presented as a work that perfectly balances artistic creativity and technical prowess.

The inspiration behind this lamp came from light patterns and the optical behavior of light as it passes through a bifocal lens. This optical phenomenon, which splits and focuses light in different directions, served as a fundamental concept in the design of the lamp. The intention was to capture and recreate how light can transform, split and refract into multiple colors and shapes as it interacts with curved surfaces and varied textures. In this way, the lamp not only illuminates, but also tells a visual story, evoking the fascination and mystery of the play of light and shadow perceived through a bifocal lens.
The result is a piece that not only fulfills its practical function of illuminating a space, but also acts as an object of contemplation, inviting viewers to reflect on the relationship between light, color and form. This lamp is a true manifestation of how science and art can come together to create objects that are not only functional, but also deeply inspiring.
